Join us for a flavour-forward evening led by Stu Hargie - World Barista Championship Judge, Q Grader and founder of Turning Point Coffee.

This hands-on workshop is designed for anyone curious about what makes great coffee, from processing and grading, to roasting and tasting. Whether you're a home brewer or a flavour-chaser, this is your chance to gain real insight into specialty coffee.

We’ll cover:

  • The journey of the bean, from farm to fermentation, drying and grading

  • Wet processing methods and their flavour impact

  • Understanding green coffee and visual grading

  • What a roast curve looks like, and how to read it

  • Quality control steps used by top roasters

  • Hands-on sensory training and cupping using SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) methods

  • Tips for brewing better coffee at home

  • Open Q&A, bring your questions!

Each attendee receives a 250g bag of specialty beans roasted for the workshop.
